The Zonta Australia, Zonta Says NOW Think Tanks ran from October 2020 to June 2026. They brought together Zontians from around Australia (and overseas) who were interested in progressing gender-equal climate action. Zontians met via Zoom to hear from interesting speakers, exchange ideas, and discuss what is happening at home and abroad. We all learned by doing. The aim of the Think Tanks was to introduce the concept of climate justice to members, so they could understand why this issue has been embraced as one of Zonta International’s four causes.
For the 2026-2028 biennium, Zonta Says NOW Think Tanks and Update will be transformed into formats that best serve Zonta Australia’s advocacy for Zonta International’s four interconnected causes: climate justice, ending violence against women, educational equality, and women in decision-making.
