Since Zonta International released the Statement on Climate Change, many clubs have joined the dots between gender equality and climate change and are exploring how to take action.

Zonta Clubs in District 25 – consisting of Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka – recently participated in a District Climate Change Project. All clubs were encouraged to enter a presentation explaining why Zontians needed to take climate action.
District 25 Governor Errick Elavia has kindly shared the entries with Zonta Says NOW, so we may all be inspired and celebrate this excellent initiative. An independent judging panel had the difficult task of choosing a winning club to receive the trophy and certificate. You can watch the presentation ceremony that is posted on the District 25 Facebook page.
The winning entry was from the Zonta Club III of Colombo. Congratulations to everyone involved!
